Launch of Team GB for London 2012

Specific Music designed and delivered the music for the official launch of Team GB for the London 2012 Olympics at the Royal Albert Hall.

A 64-piece band that included orchestral percussion, horns and strings accompanied Alfie Boe and Kimberly Walsh in the launch of the Team Song as well as performing bespoke arrangements of 80s hits, backing Tony Hadley for team sponsor Cadbury.

The evening's finale was the premiere of a bespoke new arrangement of Land of Hope & Glory, arranged by The AllStars' Kevin Robinson and performed by the band with Melanie C with Alfie, Kimberly, the Noisettes and others from the night joining in.
