Funk Republic are an 8 piece outfit who have seen it only right to reprise the very best of the funk and soul movement from the late 60's and 70's.  Whilst Motown was everywhere, there was a serious underbelly to the commercial golden era of funk music and the Funk Republic musicians have tapped into those hugely danceable but lesser known songs by the greatest funk names including Marvin Gaye, The Spinners, Brenda Holloway, Rufus, The Stylistics - the list just goes on.  Bringing back a musicality true to the nature of old school grooves, just sit back and get down wit yo bad self!​
